To Bring
Bring a water bottle every day, and on Saturday and Monday, all participants will need to bring a sack lunch. Everyone should wear long pants and sturdy close-toed shoes (no sandals) every day. You will also need a pair of work gloves, and if you are working on the trails at Towne Lake or on the Youth Storage, you will want those gloves to at least have leather palms and fingers. When working outside, please also bring sunscreen, a hat, and bug spray. Other helpful items would be a small first aid kit (we will have group kits at the site), a backpack to throw all of this in, and little snacks for the day (we will also have some).
Cost/Donation
We know that this past year has been difficult for many families, so please disregard this section if money is tight for your family.
If you are able, please plan on paying $15 per participant (to cover the cost of a t-shirt, the pizza party, and miscellaneous mission supplies), and $35 per family to cover all the meals we pack at Kids Against Hunger. Each meal we pack is 25¢, and last time we were there we packed almost 7000 of them.

Mini Food Pantry (Saturday)
Good for: Older youth (8th – 12th grades) and adults, skilled adults helpful (not professional, just comfortable with measuring, cutting, etc.), some heavy lifting (50 lbs or so) needed

You will be adding plywood on top of each shelf and securing the plywood so it does not slide around. The shelves will have to be emptied, wood shelves cut to size and secured. Once each shelf is done, food will have to be put back on the shelves (this could get heavy).

This time is reserved for those who want to participate only with their families. Each family will be at their own packing table distanced from everyone else. We are packing meals for children in Honduras.
